We presented a series of workshops around the county on behalf of Te Papa National Services Te Paerangi. Our first workshop was in New Plymouth hosted by the superb Puke Ariki, followed by the Wellington and Wairarapa regions at Te Papa Tongarewa and Aratoi, then Oamaru, Balclutha and Auckland. Our final workshop will be in Dunedin on Wednesday 24 June.
In the workshops we covered project planning, imaging specifications and guidelines,setting up an in-house facility and considerations for access and preservation. We also had a practical session on scanning and image processing. So far Air New Zealand have let us on the plane with the scanner, we’re hoping our luck holds!
