GLAM Peak – Digital Access to Collections

GLAM Peak – A peak representative body of galleries, libraries, archives and museums sectors in Australia. The GLAM Peak group focuses on digital access to collections and sharing knowledge and ideas about how to enable people to access, use and build their national collections. Throughout 2017/2018 they are holding ten workshops across Australia for small – medium sized collecting organisations in the GLAM sector. The workshops are a great chance for attendees to network, collaborate and share knowledge about how to provide better digital access to collections. Their website is full of useful resources and relevant information to help GLAM organisations develop access to their collections, from state and territory funding opportunities, technology options, through to case studies of how organisations have successfully made their collections available online.

Tyler Hersey from our Recollect team will be presenting our Recollect solution for digital access and community engagement in two of the workshops, Cairns in Queensland on 2-3 May 2018 and Nuriootpa in South Australia on 17-18 May 2018.To register for these and other free events visit the GLAM Peak website for more details.
