SMA 39

The new All-In-One Low Cost Book Scanner

The SMA 39 was designed to scan books that due to a tight or fragile binding cannot be opened entirely. The special book cradle supports the book in an opened position which is steppless adjustable from about 100 to 160 degrees.

Optional there is a standard book cradle available to upgrade the SMA 39 to scan A3 books in a normal way. You simply place the open book on the self-leveling book cradle and release the scan. A flat plate to eliminate the cradle function and to scan single sheets is included. With this concept the SMA 39 is a versatile and cost-effective way of scanning all kinds of books.

Standard application software is provided along with the SMA 39. However, due to the included TWAIN driver it is possible to utilize any other TWAIN compatible application software too.

Like all SMA book scanners can the SMA 39 be operated independent from ambient light. No matter if you position the scanner next to a window or in a shady corner - your scanned images will always be of the same quality. In addition, the operator does not get irritated by illumination elements which are usually necessary with other scanners for books or large formats.

The SMA 39 can easily be operated by foot or hand switch.
