Alison Barnett is Northern Regional Manager at NZMS, working with clients from Taupō to the top of the North Island. She partners closely with organisations to strengthen stakeholder engagement, identify new opportunities, and maximise the value and reach of their collections.
She enjoys working at the intersection of people, collections, and systems -helping organisations transform collection material into structured, meaningful digital resources that reflect their unique history and identity.
With 20 years’ experience across museums, galleries, libraries and archives, Alison brings a background in public programming, exhibition management, membership services, and stakeholder engagement. She maintains a strong focus on connecting communities with knowledge and research.
